Regent’s College London is to become the UK’s second private university, after meeting criteria set out by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills, the college announced on 25 March.
The not-for-profit institution will re-open as Regent’s University London in June 2013, joining the UK’s other private university, the University of Buckingham.
