Birmingham City leads winning climate consortium

A consortium led by Birmingham City University has been awarded more than £1.1 million in European funding for developing services and products relating to the climate.

This money has been given by the European Climate Knowledge Innovation Community, which funds innovation in climate change through partnerships between universities, public bodies and businesses.

The Birmingham-led KIC-Transitions project is a consortium of eight organisations, which also includes IBM and the Swiss university ETH Zurich.
