University of York vice-chancellor Brian Cantor has been appointed vice-chancellor and principal at the University of Bradford.
Cantor has been vice-chancellor at York since 2002. He moves to Bradford on 1 October, replacing Mark Cleary, who has been in the post since 2007.
Keon Lamberts will take over from Cantor at York from 1 January 2014, in a move announced on 18 March.
