UWE takes to the streets of Bristol and Bath for design project

The economic and social benefits of design, from engineering to fashion, are to be scrutinised in a research project led by researchers at the University of the West of England.

The project will seek to quantify the costs and benefits of design investments in businesses across the Bristol and Bath region.

Stephen Hoskins, director of the Centre for Fine Print Research and the project’s leader, said it would "create a robust map of the business of design—its volume, impact and cultural value—in the west of England.”
