The Higher Education Funding Council for England has added to its collection of data maps with an interactive breakdown of the pattern of higher education across UK regions and government-oprganised Local Enterprise Partnerships between universities and local businesses.
The map complements a large cache of maps released at the start of October exploring higher education provision “cold spots”.
Yvonne Hawkins, HEFCE director said that together the maps “provide a useful toolkit of information which helps higher education providers, working in collaboration with local enterprise partnerships, to develop and build on their understanding of higher education in their localities and the wider community”.
