HEFCE seeks input on knowledge exchange

The Higher Education Funding Council for England is developing a guide to good practice in knowledge exchange and has asked for examples to inform its work.

The guide will form part of a wider knowledge-exchange performance framework that HEFCE was asked to develop in the government’s science and innovation strategy, Our Plan for Growth: Science and innovation, in December 2014.

HEFCE said the framework, which it was treating as a pilot, was likely to cover a wide-range of KE activities including spin outs and licensing, research commercialisation, contracts, leadership and management.
