The Leadership Foundation for Higher Education has launched an impact toolkit to help deepen understanding of the term.
Funded by the higher education funding councils and developed with six academics from UK universities, the toolkit was unveiled at the Association of Research Managers and Administrators conference in Liverpool on 6 June.
The toolkit has three aims: to help research managers understand the meaning of impact and how it is relevant to their work; to help institutions increase their research impact; and to help researchers better evaluate the impact of their own work.
