Nick Hillman, director of the Higher Education Policy Institute, has acknowledged that UK higher education doesn’t help all students equally.
Hillman was outlining the results of Hepi’s 2017 Student Academic Experience Survey, published on 7 June. The document reports on how undergraduate students rate their time in higher education and their attitudes towards policy issues that affect them.
The survey shows that black and other minority ethnic groups in particular are falling behind in comparison to their white counterparts.
