University leaders question graduate earnings data

The Department for Education has published the third in its series of higher education releases from the Longitudinal Educational Outcomes dataset, but university leaders have cautioned users about the usefulness of the information.

The data, published on 13 June, focuses on employment and earnings in the tax year 2014-15 for those who graduated with an undergraduate degree in 2008-9, 2010-11 and 2012-13 from a higher education institution in the UK.

Data is presented for 23 subject areas and split by sex, subject studied and institution.
