Jisc, the UK’s higher education ICT agency, and Eduserv, which specialises in the digital transformation of public organisations and charities, are to merge.
The two organisations will start their work as one from January 2019, with no loss of staff or services, Jisc said in a statement. While initially the two brands will be separate, eventually they will both fall under the Jisc brand, creating a “UK public-sector tech powerhouse”, it said.
The resulting organisation will provide technological support to more than 20 million in several countries including the UK, the United States and Australia.
