Warwick seeks European foothold with collaboration deals

The University of Warwick has signed agreements with two universities in Paris and Brussels to cement research and teaching collaboration despite challenges posed by Brexit.

Warwick signed agreements on 28 March with L’Université Paris Seine and Vrije Universiteit Brussel that put in motion joint research posts and student exchange with both institutions.

The agreement between Warwick and L’Université Paris Seine includes the creation of four Rutherford fellowships for early-career researchers and five joint PhD scholarships. In future, the two universities could collaborate on research and teaching in business, cultural and media policy, statistics, computer science and other subjects.
