The University of Bath and South Gloucestershire Council have purchased the Bristol and Bath Science Park in a joint £18-million bid.
The science park, which was sold by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, will be home to the £60m Institute for Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems.
