The universities of Cardiff, in Wales, and Bremen, in northern Germany, are in the final stages of discussions to form a bilateral partnership ahead of Brexit.
A spokesman for the University of Cardiff told Research Fortnight that the institutions were in “advanced stages of discussions” for a deal that would build on “our complementary research strengths and existing collaborations”.
“We hope to be able to announce the details of the partnership in the next couple of months,” he said.
