Bristol University creates centre for research quality

New chair of Academic Research Quality and Improvement ‘will improve the rigour of scientific research’

The University of Bristol is creating a chair of Academic Research Quality and Improvement and six associated fellowships to “improve the rigour of scientific research”.

The team will be part of the new Centre for Academic Research Quality and Improvement, based at the university’s Faculty of Life Sciences. The centre will also be linked to six existing PhD studentships in the field, at Bristol and other institutions. It has funding for ten years.
