UCL forges ties with India as Brexit looms

University College London has entered into a partnership with the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, a public university focusing on medical education and research in New Delhi.

UCL’s president and provost Michael Arthur said that the deal, signed on 21 February, would enable closer research collaboration as well as creating opportunities for academic and student exchanges between the institutions.

“Jointly seeking to further academic and student opportunities to work together more closely, will also enrich both UCL’s and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences’s communities, enabling them to develop and grow intellectually, culturally and socially,” he said.
