Fresh strikes due in February and March

University and College Union members will walk out for 14 days in a row over pensions and pay

Staff will go on strike at 74 universities in a series of walkouts totalling two weeks at the picket lines—less than three months after the previous round of action.

The University and College Union announced on 3 February that 14 days of strike action will take place across four weeks between 20 February and 13 March. The UCU’s higher education committee backed strike action in a meeting held on 30 January.
