Institutions turn to unconditional offers after pandemic leads to cancellation of A-level exams
More universities are starting to hand out unconditional offers to students as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, sparking a warning that this could result in “bankruptcy” for less popular institutions.
But the universities minister Michelle Donelan has demanded an immediate pause to the practice.
