Campaigners want overhaul of guidance for cases where multiple complaints are made about one person
More than 150 people, including senior academics from across the UK, have called for “urgent” guidance on cases where multiple people complain about sexual harassment by one person in higher education.
The call comes in response to an Al Jazeera investigation, Degrees of Abuse, which spent two years investigating the extent of sexual misconduct in UK higher education. It uncovered a number of cases where universities allegedly failed to adequately respond to student and staff reports of sexual harassment.
