Universities Scotland and College Principals’ Group urge ministers to invest in education

University and college representatives in Scotland have united to urge the Scottish Government to deliver a funding boost for students in December’s budget.

Gerry McCormac, convener of Universities Scotland, and Audrey Cumberford, chair of the College Principals’ Group, called on ministers to ensure the 9 December budget delivers the “best experience possible” for students following the disruption caused by Covid-19.
