Value for Money report shows cost savings carried out by English regulator last year
Universities pay the Office for Students roughly £20 per student in registration fees, the regulator has said as it pledged to cut that cost over the next two years.
In its annual value for money report, published on 7 December, England’s regulator calculated the cost of registration per student for the institutions that it regulates in the 2019-20 academic year, which it said came to almost £20 per student (£19.98).
