Sir Michael Uren Hub in White City is designed to attract investment for medical innovations

Imperial College London has opened an interdisciplinary research facility for biomedical engineering, funded through a £40 million donation from the late businessman and philanthropist Michael Uren.

The 13-storey research centre at Imperial’s White City campus (pictured) will house more than 500 engineers, doctors and scientists, with an aim to develop new medical technologies.
