Universities step up to the plate in booster jab push

             

Institutions across the UK set up vaccination centres

Universities across the UK are creating pop-up Covid vaccination sites in a bid to help ensure as many people as possible can access their booster jabs.

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in early 2020, institutions have been offering facilities for vaccination centres, as well as volunteers to assist vaccination teams. The UK government has now pledged to offer a vaccine booster to everyone aged 18 or above before the end of the year, and universities are stepping up to help.
