UWE Bristol head will take over from Brunel vice-chancellor Julia Buckingham in August
Steve West, the president and chief executive of UWE Bristol, has been confirmed as the next president of vice-chancellors’ group Universities UK.
West (pictured) will succeed the current president, Julia Buckingham, vice-chancellor of Brunel University London, from 1 August 2021, and will hold the post for two years, UUK announced on 12 March.
