Exclusive data show what issues English institutions are reporting to the Office for Students
Between June 2019 and May 2020, higher education providers reported themselves to England’s higher education regulator following “suspected or actual fraud or financial irregularity” on 17 separate occasions, data obtained from the Office for Students show.
Providers registered with the OfS are obliged to submit a number of “reportable events” to the regulator as and when they occur. Research Professional News has acquired statistics that show the areas in which these reports were made in 2019-20 and 2020-21.
