Applications for medicine down 9.7 per cent after “exceptional growth” during Covid-19
There has been a “slight dip” in applications for UK undergraduate courses that have early deadlines, according to the admissions body Ucas.
The number of UK-domiciled 18-year-olds applying for courses at the universities of Oxford and Cambridge, or for medicine, dentistry and veterinary courses, dropped 3.2 per cent on last year, Ucas reported on 27 October.
