Think tank warns of security risk as it urges new ministers to change rules
New ministers should increase scrutiny of scientific links between UK universities and Chinese organisations to combat security risks, a think tank has claimed.
The right-leaning Civitas think tank suggested that the UK government should carry out an “urgent strategic reassessment” around research collaborations between the UK and China, in a report published on 17 October.
