British Academy call for business schools to prioritise ‘purpose’

   

Problem-solving skills should be promoted to help business leaders of tomorrow, academy says

Business schools should put more focus on teaching problem-solving skills to better prepare future leaders, the British Academy has suggested.

In a report published on 7 November, the humanities body set out how “purpose could be placed more firmly at the heart of business and management teaching” in business schools.
