QAA report finds discussions about academic practice often focus on misconduct

The isolation brought on by remote learning during the Covid-19 pandemic may have resulted in poorer communication with students about the importance of academic integrity, a report has suggested.

According to the Quality Assurance Agency, discussions with students about academic practices frequently focus on the penalties for misconduct rather than emphasising the positives of good processes and procedures.
