Lords committee hears concerns about proposed Holocaust-denial amendment

The higher education free speech bill should not include a clause that prohibits the promotion of Holocaust denial, a member of the House of Lords has said.

The bill, which would place an obligation on universities to promote free speech on campus and provide a legal route to compensation for people who feel they have been silenced, is currently making its way through parliament.
