Ousted NUS president explores ‘all legal remedies’ after dismissal

Lawyers for Shaima Dallali say she rejects findings of internal investigation into antisemitism

Lawyers for former National Union of Students president Shaima Dallali have said she is “considering all available legal remedies” after the union dismissed her.

The NUS announced on 1 November that it had terminated Dallali’s contract as president after an independent panel looking into allegations of antisemitism found “significant breaches of NUS’ policies”.
