Some universities ‘not as well protected’ against cyberattacks

Jisc survey shows variation in cybersecurity levels at universities, as ransomware labelled top concern

Just 16 per cent of university staff give their cybersecurity protections a high rating, despite ransomware attacks remaining a top concern, a Jisc survey has revealed.

Higher education organisations “are cautious” about their cybersecurity posture, which is their overall level of protection against cyberattacks, according to IT firm Jisc’s annual survey.
