Government confirms rates will be capped at 6.5 per cent from next month
Interest rates on student loans in England and Wales are to remain at a reduced level for another three months, the governments of both nations have said.
Ministers said on 13 June that the student loan interest rate would be set at 7.3 per cent between 1 September and 31 August, in line with market rate forecasts.
