Universities face legal action over Covid tuition

   

Thousands of students seek payouts over disrupted learning during lockdown and strikes

Universities are being hit by legal action from students who say their learning was disrupted during the Covid-19 pandemic and a series of strikes.

Around 20,000 students have joined a group legal action, known as the Student Group Claim. Lawyers from law firms Asserson Law Office and Harcus Parker acting for the students said they should be compensated for lost learning during the pandemic and industrial action.
