University staff plan to strike later this month

UCU members will take to picket lines for three days unless agreements are reached

Three days of strike action could take place across UK universities this month unless agreements are reached in the ongoing rows over pensions and pay, the University and College Union has warned.

In an update on 3 November, UCU general secretary Jo Grady said the union would tell its members to strike for three days at the end of November if no progress is made in the disagreements over the Universities Superannuation Scheme and pay and conditions.
