Report finds graduate employment at normal levels, despite market slowdown during pandemic
Graduates who left university during the first year of the Covid-19 pandemic showed their “resilience and adaptability” with high levels of employment, despite fears of tough competition for jobs, according to a new report.
The report by graduate employment firm Prospects—now part of IT firm Jisc—revealed that 80 per cent of 2020 graduates were in employment 15 months after graduation, 9.3 per cent had taken up further study and 4.2 per cent were unemployed.
