Research suggests most Black students have experienced racism in student accommodation
More than half of Black students have been the victim of racism in their student accommodation, while more than two thirds of all students have witnessed acts of racism, according to a survey.
More than 1,000 students were canvassed for research commissioned by student accommodation provider Unite Students. Some 54 per cent of Black respondents said they had experienced racism, and 64 per cent of all respondents said they had witnessed racist incidents.
