But vice-chancellors’ body tells universities to review Russian links
Universities UK has told institutions that it does not support blanket bans on academic collaboration as a means of protest, and advised universities to consider Russian links “on a case-by-case basis”.
The vice-chancellors’ membership body condemned the “appalling decision” of Russia’s leaders to invade Ukraine in a statement on 3 March, stressing that it would focus on “what we can do to support Ukrainian staff and students currently in the UK, and those who arrive here fleeing the conflict”.
