Conference discusses impact of upcoming legislation on essay mills and contract cheating

Academics must scale up their understanding of post-pandemic assessment and how cheats target vulnerable students, a conference has heard.

Michael Draper, a member of the Quality Assurance Agency’s advisory committee and dean of regulation and student cases at Swansea University, told a Westminster Higher Education Forum webinar that universities must be more aware of the risks for cheating in post-Covid assessment.
