Research managers to explore UK due diligence reform

         

Project to explore feasibility of establishing clearing house and national service to support due diligence

A £100,000 project led by the UK’s Association of Research Managers and Administrators will explore ways to improve due diligence in international research collaborations.

Funded by Research England, the Efficiency, Equity, Quality and Security in International Research Collaboration project will build on the findings and recommendations of Arma’s 2021 report, Due Diligence in International Research, which warned that due diligence checks could be costing the R&D sector £3 million a year.
