USS says Jane Hutton has unilaterally withdrawn from legal proceedings
A former director of the embattled Universities Superannuation Scheme has dropped her case for unfair dismissal against the pension trustee.
Jane Hutton, a professor in the Department of Statistics at the University of Warwick, was an elected union representative on the USS board until she was sacked for what her employer called “breaches of her duties”, following an investigation in 2019.
