Campaign group overturned FOI request refusals, unearthing £20.6 million in industry research grants and donations
Climate campaigners have accused the University of Oxford of obstructing attempts to ascertain how much money it has received from companies linked to fossil fuels in donations and research grants.
Through freedom of information requests, the Oxford Climate Justice Campaign student group has established that the University of Oxford received £20.6 million from 12 companies working in fossil fuels or directly related industries between 2015 and 2021.
