Changes to pension arrangements behind decision to ask UCU members to strike

A ballot on whether to take strike action over a “two-tier workforce” has opened at Falmouth University.

Members of the University and College Union branch at the university are being asked to back strike action in a ballot running from 11 July to 19 August. If the ballot is successful, strikes could take place in the next academic year.
