Dismissal of pay pitch comes as UCU prepares to ballot members in university pay row

Members of the University and College Union branch of the Unite union have voted to reject the UCU’s latest pay offer, increasing the possibility of industrial action.

The move came as the UCU prepared to ask its own members to vote on potential strike action over university pay.
