Research centre proposed after inquiry finds “significant” connections with slavery
A £1.5 million pot to help fund research into the legacies of slavery will be set up by the University of Cambridge after a report found it was “implicated in enslavement”.
The university’s two-year inquiry into its links with slavery, carried out by the internal Advisory Group on the Legacies of Enslavement, published its findings on 22 September.
