Research Professional News speaks to Simon Marginson about students, international relations and Brexit

In the early days of the pandemic, it was feared that international students would drop their ambitions to study outside their own country.

In the UK, which had already been feeling the squeeze as rival countries such as Australia and Canada increased their share of international student recruitment, university leaders worried that students would stay away, especially as Covid-19 case numbers exploded.
