David Blaney will leave the role before the funding council is dissolved next year
David Blaney is to stand down from his role as chief executive of the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales in February next year, it has been announced.
Blaney joined Hefcw in 2005 as head of funding and reconfiguration and became director of strategic development in 2007. He was made chief executive in 2012.
