OfS report calls for UK government to lead action on student mental health

The UK government should help universities develop guidance on the level of mental health support they provide for students, according to a report commissioned by the Office for Students.

A 10-month project on how universities and healthcare professionals can work better together to support student mental health, published by the OfS on 29 November, identified a “lack of strategic-level approach to collaboration” between higher education and the NHS.
