Number of students accepted at UK institutions falls by 1.5%

Total student intake down more than 8,700 year on year

The number of students accepted by UK universities this year fell by more than 8,700 on 2022, data published by Ucas have shown.

Overall, there were 554,465 total acceptances across all ages and domiciles this year, down 1.5 per cent from 563,175 last year, according to the data published on 7 December.
