When Maddy Beaumont-Grice left college in 2019, she was “pretty convinced” university wasn’t for her. But four years down the line, she is preparing to start as a mature student at Goldsmiths to study history with politics.

After three years of bar work in London, alongside studying advanced politics at adult-education provider City Lit, Maddy felt a degree was essential to get a foot in the door in pursuit of her dream career in publishing.
