Vice-chancellor says University of Central Lancashire title is outdated

The University of Central Lancashire has proposed to change its name to the University of Lancashire.

In a consultation document published by the Office for Students, which must approve the change, Uclan vice-chancellor Graham Baldwin said the institution’s current name was dated and inaccurate.
